Why do I need my web site or blog to be created on WordPress?

The number one request we get from new clients is they want to be able to update the content themselves.  Let’s face it, if you need to update basic text content on your site you do not want to have to hire some programmer to make these simple changes.  By having your web site created on WordPress  you will have control of your own content. That means if you need to change text on a page, add a photo, insert a new link or even add/remove a page – you can do all of that yourself.

If you are comfortable using Microsoft Word then you will be comfortable updating content in WordPress – it really is that simple!

What is included in your WordPress packages?

• Completely customized Content Management System (CMS)
  We will make WordPress work for you!  There are a number of designers who claim to create WordPress CMS sites for clients, though not many know how to do it correctly.  WordPress is extremely powerful right out of the box – but it is not as easy as it can be.  We completely customize and brand your WordPress install to meet your needs. That means we remove areas that you will never need access to but instead just make things confusing.  Support information is included throughout the entire backend and things are just made so that it is easy for you.
• Custom design with your input!
  We will create a custom designed blog and invite you to include your input during the entire process if you wish. We will start by creating a wireframe, which gives a rough outline of where everything is placed. That is followed by the actual layout design of the web site including the colors and graphics. That is when everything starts to come together and you can see how your web site will look. Once the layout has been approved we will create the actual web site by coding and setting everything up. This will all be done on a private testing server so you can keep up with what is happening on the project. After we have completed the coding and done all the testing we will launch the web site on your site and give you a crash course on how to manage everything.
  • This typically takes anywhere from 3 – 6 weeks
• Search Engine Optimization
  One very big benefit of having your web site designed on WordPress is it includes great Search Engine Optimization (SEO) built into it. On top of that we will optimize the site for SEO so that you will get as much benefit as possible. You don’t want to have a beautiful web site with great content but no visitors correct? All web sites come with basic SEO to help you get started.
  • We also offer more advanced Search Engine Optimization services to help you get even higher rankings on Google & Bing.
• Full Support & Training
  We do not create the web site and then leave you hanging wondering how you will manage it. Included with every WordPress web site is full support and training. That means if you have a question all you need to do is call or email and we will be glad to help you out. Also included is custom created support videos that are available in your admin area of the web site that you can refer to at anytime.

I need a specific feature included, can you do that?

• Contact Forms – This is something every site should have and we have a way of making this as easy as possible for you.  You will be able to create any number of contact forms and edit them all by yourself. You will not believe how easy this is to do.
• Shopping Cart – If you have products you want to sell on your web site then we can setup a shopping cart for you very easily.
• Photo Gallery – Easily add photos to a great looking gallery on your site.  We will walk you through the entire process of adding photos along with adding extra galleries to the site.
• Portfolio – If are are an artist, photographer or fellow designer you will want to showcase your past work in a way that looks good.  We can setup a number of different portfolio options that are all easy to update when new work is finished.
• Content - If you need assistance writing content for your web site then we can help. We have available to our customers terrific content writers that will help you get your point across while at the same time making sure you content is helping your SEO.
• Social Integration – We can make sure your blog is connected to the top social network sites on the Internet such as Twitter & Facebook.  The process can be automated so you don’t need to update either Twitter or Facebook but instead they will automatically update when you post to your blog.
• Audio & Video – You can easily add audio and video to your web site or blog.  Everything from videos you have on YouTube to your own videos hosted directly on the site.  This also include helping you setup a podcast if desired.
• eBooks – Are you talented in a specific area and want to help others? We can assist you in the entire process from designing the eBook and selling it on your site.
