This was a quick shot I took as I was leaving the park late one night. I did not bother to setup my tripod but instead took a couple of quick shots hoping that I could save it in processing. Thanks to Lightroom I was able to come up with a final shot that I am happy with.

Walt Disney World – Grand Floridian

This turned out to be one of my favorite shots from my trip in March. I had just exited the monorail and entered the Grand Floridian and saw this woman standing at the railing. I was able to get one shot off before other people walked into the frame. It was a case of just being there at the right time.

Monorail passing the Imagination Pavilion

I had waited for a monorail to pass for what seemed like an hour so I could get this photo. I really wanted to capture the great sky colors and clouds before it went away. Unfortunately there was nothing I could do in processing to fix the blown highlights caused by the sun above the pavilion – either way I am still happy with the finished result.

Bay Lake Tower is the newest resort on Disney property. Located on Bay Lake near the Magic Kingdom and next to the Contemporary Resort.

Walt Disney World – Pop Century Resort

When I stayed at the Pop in March I had a ton of photo ideas for the resort – unfortunately I never got around to the majority of them. I am not a fan of the over the top processing that many HDR photos have but I do like the way this one came out. I think when used correctly to bring out the details and add a little pop it is great.

I am going through some photos I took with my old P&S a couple of years ago and have been doing some processing work in Lightroom. Just a way for me to test some things I have learned recently at Photoshop World.
